10/5/10 Nerding Out! Artoo Swimsuit

I found out about this Artoo swimsuit from Black Milk around last year but I was devastated to discover that the print wasn't running anymore. But it is back! Not only is it back but they have an entire Collection devoted to STAR WARS! What can I say, I'm a sucker for nerdy fashion. ;) Even though we are moving away from the heat of summer, I still want this fantastic one piece before they stop running it again! Black Milk has some of the best prints that are to die for; especially their galaxy prints, which I'm sure if you have wandered through my blog know I dig space shit. <3

3/2/12 Shoe Wishlist

These are a few shoes that have been on my wishlist for awhile now. But yet, I don't have the moola of course haha. The galaxy shoes are Jeffrey Campbell Litas, then there are green glow in the dark Nike Dunks, in the middle is an adorable and edgy studded flat, to the lower left are a pair of Cheap Monday Monolit wedges, and lastly Tuk Lolita Creepers. I've just been craving these shoes to be part of my wardrobe. The Monolit wedges remind me of shoes you would wear on the moon because of the teeth of the souls. I definitely dig the platform Creepers with the cute lolita detailing. They have been something that I've been looking for in my size for a long time but I can only seem find them in 9's when I go out. Studs are a big trend right now. Studded flats are cute but they have that dangerous tone to them too. They are edgy but chic. I already made a separate post for Jeffrey Campbell. The Dunks are something that my boyfriend has been begging me to get and I love these unique glow in the dark Nike high tops. High tops also took over the runways this year. Hopefully someday soon I will have at least one of these items on my wishlist. I just wish! <3

2/29/12 Dream Prom Dress

So I found my DREAM prom dress... The only problem is that it is $925! Hence the emphasis on the word "dream." MLH dresses remind me of little nymphs or sprites wandering throughout the forest floor. Her designs are whimsical, dainty, and feminine. I was specifically drawn in by this "SELMA powder gown" because of its flow of lines and peachy hue. <3 Because of the cost and my attraction to this dress, I decided I need to make my own prom dress inspired by this breathe taking gown.

I will just use some pink or peach chiffon fabric and a strapless shapewear slip to layer the chiffon over top. This is just a somewhat cheap and easy way to make a dress. But I'm excited none the less. Wish me luck!

1/28/12 Jeffrey Campbell Obsession

I've been obsessing over Jeffrey Campbell shoes for about a month now. I especially love the Litas as you can tell because I have three different versions above. They are so cute and give you that extra height, which is good for me because I'm only 5'4. Why is 5'4 considered short anyway? It is an average height, I mean I have friends who are 4'8. But I do wish I was taller so these are my dream shoes. They go for about 160-ish dollars which is a little too pricey for me right now so I'm planning on buying a pair of shoes somewhat similar to these. Hopefully sometime soon I can buy a pair of these beauties. <3
