1/5/12 Outfit of the Day
Today was the third day back from winter break and boy was it hot(for winter)! I'm glad I wore this sheer bohemian dress to escape from the heat of midday. I'm wearing an H&M dress my boyfriends parents got me for the holidays with a wool hat from target, loafer flats, an eyeball ring from etsy, a sea shell locket with a bangle encircling it, and a leather braided anklet.

1/5/12 To Infinity and Beyond!
I LOVE galaxy and nebula prints! These are just a few pieces that caught my eye. If I could, I would buy all of these things. I'm seriously considering if I should buy one of the little shoulder bags. They're only 12 and 13 dollars! Christopher Kane's spring/summer 2011 galaxy collection was gripping and inspirational. The collection had me sucked in like a black hole to my computer screen. The explosive colors and natural beauty of space has me drooling for more stellar, out-of-this-world, prints. <3

1/2/12 DIY Mason Jar Soap Dispenser
I was inspired by these Mason Jar soap dispensers I came across on Pinterest.
These specific jars are from tickledpinkgoods on etsy. But I find this to be an easy DIY project!
You will need:- a Mason Jar
- an old soap dispenser(or you could buy a pump)
- Drill
- small drill bit & large drill bit (or a hole saw)
- Crop Saw
- Hot Glue gun
- Marker
- Liquid Soap
Mark the center of the lid so you know where to drill.
Take the smaller drill bit to first puncture the lid and make it smoother for the larger drill bit to go through.
It should look like this so far!
After all that drilling make sure you clean out the jar from any metal shards left behind. Before...
...pouring in your soap!
Next, take your cropping saw and cut off the top of your old soap bottle so you can srew in the pump. If you leave a little hang over from the bottle when sawing off the top, you can skip the next step with the hot glue gun.
Hot glue a few layers on the outer rim of the srew on top so it doesn't fall through the jars lid.
It should look like this with a little lip.
Place the srew on top in the whole with the lip on the bottom. Stick a little hot glue over any holes poking out for extra security.
Screw in the pump to the lid then screw on the lid to the jar.
Now go wash your hands! ;) <3

12/31/11 New Years Eve
It was great to see my boyfriend on the last day of 2011. We played some basketball with his uncle and blew bubbles all over the yard. We also had a little fun taking pictures in his grandparents backyard. Chris is wearing two old pins he found around his house with a paper mache pin I made, a Good Wood army man necklace, a sweater from Urban, Creative Recreation shoes, a Casio flat white watch, and friendship bracelets. <3 I'm wearing an H&M button down blouse, a French Connection stary flared skirt, a Mossimo black ribbed tank and sneaker, an Express wish bone necklace, and a vintage autumn toned tasseled sphere charm. The card we are holding up is from his uncle's(Glenn Kaino) new deck of cards.
Happy New Year! 2012 will be great. <3
