A few weeks ago Keith and I had Date Night! His parents gave us a gift card for a date at the Elephant Bar during the holidays. And of course we had a super time.~ I got that awesome gold flapper dress and black velvet clutch at a thrift store recently on an adventure with some pals. I think we all scored some pretty chill buys. Also, I made the chain bracelet with the shell buttons and the wooden triangular necklace.

Another day in beautiful Oregon! Colin and I went with his sister to her horse lessons one Saturday and we wandered the premises. Wow is it gorgeous! There was a pond just beyond the stable and the perfect log to perch ourselves on and look for small fish swimming around. The view was serene. I've got on my Ray-Bans, a Hollister sailor stripped top, eyeball ring, a watch from Target, my Chucks, h&m black wax jeans, a black hoodie with a white trimmed zipper, and an anonymous beanie from my friend.  <3 I love Oregon.

7/23/12 Daisy Patch

Hey y'all! I apologize for the slow postings. I was in Oregon visiting my friend Colin before he left off for the Navy. But on the bright side, after this long wait, I got some pretty nice pictures while there. Here is one of many postings from my adventuring throughout Oregon with Colin! Here I am wandering into a flower patch in Tigard. I've got on my Bright Eyes band tee, Hollister jeans, a Target shoulder bag, of course my adventurous yellow rain booties, a grey beanie, Ray-Ban wayfarers, skeleton fish necklace, eyeball ring, and a new watch I got from Target. I'm excited to share my other picture from Oregon so keep an eye out. <3

Background story! Okay so my friend Ray is competing in an environmental video contest and I was his actress! We took about a three hour road trip out to the Salton Sea in Palm Springs during the weekend of Coachella (It's funny cause we went to Coachella without actually going to it hehe). After we arrived to an abandoned community, getting out of that car literally took my breath away. The air was no longer inhale-able burning my throat and noise with each breath of stinging pure salt. Anyway, after getting over the air and extreme heat we wandered the area and took the video. Did I mention there was no sand on that beach? The white sandy looking stuff surrounding the brown water is actually entirely made up of crushed fish bones and dead barnacles. NO LIE! Nevertheless, I cannot wait to see the final video though by Ray because I think the trip was so worth the apocalyptic scenery and the fact that I had a blast with my friends. <3
