8/9/12 DIY Nebula/Galaxy Shirt

To make this...
You will need:
Optional: Sponge or paper towel and thin paint brush.
1. Lay the trash bag within the shirt so the bleach or paint does not seep through to the back.
2. Pour bleach into the spray bottle diluted with water.
 3. Spray from a distance with the bleach bottle and twist the shirt to create spiral galaxies.
 4. Let bleach dry. (You can wash the shirt of the bleach after it drys).
5. Prep acrylic or fabric paint.
 6. With the tooth brush, wet with desired paint color and flick bristles to get paint splatters on shirt.
7. Paint star patterns over shirt. In the right picture I made a mistake so I made it into a star haha.
 8. Damp sponge or paper towel with paint and water and dab over shirt for effect.
 9. Let dry.
10. Wash by hand and hang dry.
For this shirt, I added a little embroidery of my name on some fabric and sewed it on the bottom. <3

 Happy 19th Birthday Keith!
Enjoy your shirt. ^-^

7/26/12 PONDer

Another day in beautiful Oregon! Colin and I went with his sister to her horse lessons one Saturday and we wandered the premises. Wow is it gorgeous! There was a pond just beyond the stable and the perfect log to perch ourselves on and look for small fish swimming around. The view was serene. I've got on my Ray-Bans, a Hollister sailor stripped top, eyeball ring, a watch from Target, my Chucks, h&m black wax jeans, a black hoodie with a white trimmed zipper, and an anonymous beanie from my friend.  <3 I love Oregon.

6/7/12 Like a Sir OOTD

Today, I have on a sweater I got from a thrift store for a dollar (that's right a buck)! The tag actually says it is from H&M too, so it was a nice buy. I also have on a crocheted bow tie necklace that I made a few years ago (it makes me feel like a sophisticated gentleman). The acid wash shorts are from a little Korean boutique  that use to be near my house called. Sadly, they went out of business because they were located in an awkward place amongst restaurants. These studded flip flops from Old Navy I purchased a few years back were an investment. I wear them all the time and the studs add a little edge to the feminine sandal. Of course,  I have on my funky Eyeball ring from Etsy. I would also like to take the time to point out that I have NEVER painted my nails red. Past reds that I have tried haven't looked to great on my skin. But I absolutely adore this shade of red with my skin tone. It is such a deep and vibrant shade that I'm reminded of blood or Minnie Mouse's dress. <3

6/4/12 Cozy Summer OOTD

 Heart Leaf!

Just like this laid back cozy outfit I'm feeling kinda lazy today on this post, so I'm going to keep this one short. The weather in Southern Cali has been bipolar hence the sweater, beanie and tall socks during the Summertime. The beanie came from my one of my friends,Hiram, after his performance in a Battle of the Bands concert on Friday. I've been searching for an affordable grey beanie for awhile and Hiram kindly said I could just keep it. Hehe ever since Friday night, I've worn this baby everyday. This outfit was nice and cozy on this cloudy summer day. <3
