So I found my DREAM prom dress... The only problem is that it is $925! Hence the emphasis on the word "dream." MLH dresses remind me of little nymphs or sprites wandering throughout the forest floor. Her designs are whimsical, dainty, and feminine. I was specifically drawn in by this "SELMA powder gown" because of its flow of lines and peachy hue. <3 Because of the cost and my attraction to this dress, I decided I need to make my own prom dress inspired by this breathe taking gown.

I will just use some pink or peach chiffon fabric and a strapless shapewear slip to layer the chiffon over top. This is just a somewhat cheap and easy way to make a dress. But I'm excited none the less. Wish me luck!

2/28/12 People are Animals OOTD

I have the hardest time trying to figure out how to wear denim jackets until I finally realized that you can wear them with black jeans and an average tee. Duh! This denim blazer instantly dresses up an average outfit and rolling up the sleeves instantly adds a sophisticated tone. I played with colorful jewelry adding a pop to my outfit to bring out the word "PEOPLE" on my t-shirt. My random item necklace was a quick little project I pulled together a few years ago and I still find it rotating through my outfits today. And of course I threw on my Chucks and RayBans. Yay! <3

2/26/12 Nor Cal Fox OOTD

         Up in San Francisco, I got my boy friend this NOR CAL sweatshirt. I am known for kidnapping his clothes but this time it was all his doing. He dressed me up like his little Hype-Beast. My boyfriend told me to wear his sweatshirt, his snap back hat, my shorts, tall socks, my look a like vans, and my over sized RayBan glasses. I thought I'd add on my fox tail from L.A., my bullet necklace, and the teal watch he got me. I felt like a major hype beast out dressing the guys at our school.

         OH! and if you noticed I dyed the tips of my hair again in a long attempt to make it blonde... It is kinda getting there. I've been at dying my tips for about 5 months now and it shows very little results so this time I bleached.

2/19/12 San Francisco!

Hey yall! I know it has been a while since I have posted. I've been in San Francisco and catching up on homework. Oh also, I've been spending late nights out with my friends. But oh my gosh San Francisco was amazing. For marching band, we marched in the Chinese New Years Parade in San Francisco down town. It was a blast and it was my last marching band related activity of high school. :'( Great memories for sure though. I love band. :) Anyway, these are a few pictures from our trip. Oh and something a little fashion related; our group got super touristy swag I <3 SF t-shirts hahaha! We will rock those shirts at school fo sho! <3

I had the great opportunity to model for my friends online store of used and vintage clothes! Jessica is a blast! She is an amazing photographer with style. She creates beautiful graphics and makes editing a photo look so easy. One day, Jessica Portillo will be a well known name. Her online store is super affordable for the quality of clothing and vintage items. I couldn't help but purchase an Angora rabbit hair sweater(the don't hurt the bunnies) from her for only 20 bucks. 1/2/12 College Apps

Sorry I haven't posted the past few days. I've been pounded with work for my college application to the Fashion Institute of Technology in NY. Yesterday was the last chance to turn in your supplement work. I am so exhausted from staying up to three or four in the morning each night the past week and a half. On top of that, we just finished our Finals for our first semester classes. So right now I am ready to fall asleep. But, of course, I have more homework, due first period...meaning I have to stay up and work. But hey, you know, I do it because I care. Nonetheless, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders now that I am done with college applications. Wooh! Cannot wait to find out if I have made it in. This is my first choice school. Hopefully I made it. <3 Oh! Yesterday I did a photo shoot for my friends clothing website. I will post her site and pictures as soon as I can. She is an amazing photographer and her vintage clothes are at a great price!
